About Me

I've lived in Vancouver for most of my life (a few years in the States for University). The past decade or so I've been working as a Special Education Assistant in schools and recently have been teaching ESL. Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl!

Most of my time is spent with family and friends, watching and working at an improv centre (check out VTSL online), watching comedies and making others' laugh, baking and cooking, and going to Zumba.

I'm so excited to have my best friend as my roommate-- we've known each other since elementary school and share so many traveling and general life experiences with each other. She is an Early Childhood Educator and is an expert at crafts, games, activities and teaching little kids. I like to think that we are both experts at having fun and helping others to enjoy themselves thoroughly.

Accommodations: A queen bed and/or a couch. Shared fridge and bathroom.

Also, Vancouver has an excellent transit system of which I am very familiar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hola, Bonjour, Aloha, Hello, Guten tag!
I am passionate about meeting people from all backgrounds of life. I have been teaching for awhile, and I know that you can learn a lot in school. However, there is also SO much to learn outside of a four-wall classroom in THE WORLD.

I am excited to meet new people, enjoy conversations and life stories, and have locals share their cities with me. Likewise, when others visit my city, I would be delighted to give ideas for dining, entertainment, nature, adventure, and so much more.

Note: I don't expect hosts to give me tours or join me on adventures/sightseeing. However, if they are available or interested I'd love that because I am an extrovert. Also, locals are experts on their city.
In turn, when others visit Vancouver I'd love to show you around if I'm available and if that is something you'd like. :)
