About Me

Hello! I am an American student studying in Bordeaux, France. I study French as a Foreign language (level B2) and am taking German film and translation classes (level B1-B2).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting to know people that actually live in the city, versus the impersonal nature of hotels. I also like to cook for my hosts, and adore the experience of homestays! I have done them through sites like and loved it.

Walking/jogging while listening to music, writing/translating (yep, as a hobby!), cooking, and talking to people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Techno, trance, rock, metal, piano, singer-songwriter, acoustic... kind of a lot of everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived, studied, and worked in 2 foreign countries before I turned 21, including an internship where I translated in 3 different languages for a public relations firm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love practicing English, German, and French with people, and also really enjoy cooking with people and learning what they like to cook.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language exchange, cooking exchange, story exchange (boy I have some good ones, and I bet you do too!) and I will clean! Yep! A habit I picked up from Miyazaki films - clean up and be a good guest :)
