ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Harbin China, only child in the family. Went to college in Beijing and lived in the city for 7 years. Fell in love with sports when working for Beijing Olympics and decided to work in sports industry after graduation. After working for 3 years, I decided to travel to US and study Sport Management which raised a lot of eyebrows - it's not common for a girl to study and work in sports in China. People always ask me:"what's to manage in sports?!"

Have been living in Connecticut since last August. Have only been to NYC, Philly, Providence and New Haven, but would love to explore more places in the US before graduating in May next year.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life for the moment. Work hard and play hard. Never take things in life for granted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Heard about Couchsurfing early this year and thought it is a GREAT idea to explore new places, experience different cultures and make new friendship!

Intereses

Love travelling - have been to 24 of the 34 districts in China. Traveled to Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and currently living in the US. I would love to travel to as many new places as possible in my life.

Love cooking, trying new food, having friends around and meeting new people. Never turn down a beer. Love having great conversations and doing all different adventures with friends.

Love exercise - a kickboxing workout is my favorite! Also love swimming, yoga, tennis and skiing.

I played flute since 10 years old with a dream of becoming a professional flutist but decided to keep it as a hobby when I was 19. I still play from time to time.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I was very lucky to work in tennis during Beijing Olympics and track and field during Beijing Paralympics. That experience changed my life and drove me to fly around the globe to US and pursue a master degree in sport management, which I believe is also an amazing thing I have done so far. I believe more amazing things are waiting ahead and this is only a start!

To learn: I hope to learn and speak Spanish and French. I also hope to learn to play Jazz flute.
