HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of having an open home. When I settle I will remember the kindness of so many people I have met on my travels and hope to be a good host for travellers alike.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never been couch surfing through this organisation but I have had many wonderful experiences from amazing people that I didn't know and who made me feel so at home during my travels. I was very apprehensive about joining but my friends told me so many lovely stories I'm excited to try it out.

Interests

I love reading, walking in nature, helping people, self-development, animals and being with family and friends.

I have been doing Vipassana meditation daily for 20 years and love reading, talking and learning about spiritual development.

Music, Movies, and Books

Conversations with God, Abraham Hicks books, khailil Gibrain, Tibetan Book of the living and the dying, Jodi Piccoult. Any historical novels. Swing jazz music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode across Peru, Costa Rica and Nicaragua on a horse for 1.5 years
Worked for humanitarian NGO's for 4 years (Peace Boat NGO, Bhutan Nuns Foundation and a charity to help destitute children in Nairobi)
Been around the world several times and visited almost 70 countries (that's a few more than one amazing thing :)
