About Me

CURRENT MISSION

We've all gone to look for America

ABOUT ME

In short: I've just turned 21. I study German and History at the University of Hartford, but am currently spending a year abroad in Tübingen, Germany.

I won't pretend to have direction in my life. Just enjoying being young and traveling in Germany and Europe in general in the meantime :)

I'm a drinker, but don't consider myself a partier... I definitely prefer bars, pubs, biergartens and houseparties over clus and diskotheks.

PHILOSOPHY

Time is the only resource I have right now, just trying my best not to waste it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would so much rather explore your city with you and get a real feel for it than walk around with a huge, pain in the ass to fold map, and remain a simple tourist. I've got a place for you too, though there isn't terribly much to do in my neck of the woods.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had one experience so far. I stayed a few nights in Berlin with Sven, who was busy most of the time. Still, we went out and had a cray night with one of his flatmates that made me really want to continue couch surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film Noir, Rock Music, no particular genre for books. I love The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Brave New World, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always find my way into ridiculous adventures that don't really need to take place but make for great stories. You are welcome to come along.

Teach, Learn, Share

Off the top of my head... lets see...

-I can tie a noose. That's kind of dark, but really comes in handy around halloween time!
-I can open a beer bottle with lots of things, but for you Europeans that doesn't mean anything.
-I sometimes invent and sing jingles without realizing it, and they're pretty damn good.
-I know a lot about the American Separation of Church and State. That's pretty random, but it can be quite interesting.
