ABOUT ME

I'm a recent college graduate (Furman University, English and Philosophy) taking a year or two off to travel and consider long-term plans. I've spent most of my life in South Carolina but am currently indulging my wanderlust on a Great American Road Trip, visiting national parks and cities where I might want to relocate. I practiced journalism extensively as an undergrad and expect to pursue a career that involves writing.

Interessen

Reading and writing are my most consuming interests. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and outdoor activities and dabble in photography and music (guitar and banjo).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail the summer after my sophomore year of college, taking three months to complete the 2200 mile foot path running from Georgia to Maine. The hike was and still is the most difficult physical challenge I've undertaken, a rewarding adventure that furnished me with a rich repository of stories and anecdotes to tell and retell.
