I am Merlin from Berlin, where I grew up. For my studies I lived in Cologne. Travelling is one of my greatest passions as it gives me the feeling of total freedom and is always teaching me things!

At the moment I am travelling with my girlfriend, Lisa, in Japan. Lisa will start her studies in Tokyo soon and I am going on a japanese farm.

I think couchsurfing has a great aim of bringing people closer together and share hospitality. On trips in Europe and Asia I really enjoyed my CS-experiences. In Hong Kong I had the opportunity to host some people, which was really good fun!

On a sunny day back home I love to take my fishing rod, jump on my motorbike and have a cruise to the next lake. Enjoy a beer, read, fish, talk.... Life couldn't be better !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago I finished an internship in Hong Kong and was traveling through Asia back home by hitchhiking with a friend of mine. That journey is still a great memory for me!
