About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After two semesters on exchange near Toronto its time to travel through Canada!

ABOUT ME

After high school I worked in a kindergarten for a year before travelling around the world. I went from Northern British Columbia to Mexico and from there to the East Coast, Bahamas and Hawaii. Then I lived in New Zealand for a year before going back to Germany. Since two years I study History and Anthropology in Freiburg, Germany. In 2014/15 I went on exchange to Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

If you are not living on the edge you take up too much space

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am just surfing. Back home I will host for sure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because of Couchsurfing I had a Christmas Party in July in San Francisco, a wonderful time in Philadelphia. At a couchsurfers place I survived the earthquake in Washington DC and the hurrincane "Irene" in New York City ;). I went partying with great couchsurfer in Miami and Bahamas. Not to forget the wonderful week in Hawaii! and that's just the beginning!

Interests

I really like to meet new people and travel around (who doesn't like to do so?!). During free time I read a lot of different books and watch good movies. I like surfing, playing tennis, listening to good music and cooking. And of course I like my mountainbike. In the last years I cycled more than 50 000 kilometers.
What else do I like?
I love
- my family,
- my friends
- food (cheap, expensive, asian, french, american just everything! Duck with noodles and sweet sour sauce is nice!)
- Haribo (and other sweeties of course as long as there is enough sugar inside :)
- fruits (nectarines!)
- fast cars (Porsche and Lamborghini)
- old vacated houses (with an old piano inside!)
- jogging (with good music)
- Palm trees (holiday!)
- airports (the connection to the world out there!)
- basketball (can't play it very well, but I love to watch a game)
- white sand (Caribbean...)
- the Ocean (can I see the country on the other side?!)
- mountains (I love the great view!)
- snow (to fight there with my two brothers:)
- beaches (surfing, swimming, sun bath)
- aircraft (sit down, shut up and listen to all the different languages around you!)
- old forest (take a deep breath and feel it!)
- skiing (be good, be fast, have fun)
- baseball (can't play it, love to watch it!)
- sunset (a little bit of romantic at the end ;)

I really hate racism and prejudices! I don't like mud, wet socks, coffee and flat tires.
