I'm a 27 year old person currently working as a researcher in Technical University of Delft, while trying to obtain a Ph.D. degree. I was born and raised in Turkey and lived in Ankara and Eskisehir for 25 years. For the past 2 years, I've been living as an expat (or an immigrant if you don't like 'fancy' words as expat) in Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing , as a concept, has been always fascinating for me. Travelers all around the world, without any financial gain for both parties , helping each other, sharing experiences and place, it sounded amazing! However, I never had the chance of hosting and surfing up until now. I think, my conditions are convenient now and I'd like to step into the world of couchsurfing by hosting people. Who knows, maybe I'll start surfing too!
