PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short for boring underwear... Why stay put when there are so many cool places to go? Recipe for life: work hard, save up, then run wild around the world till you’re broke… then repeat... Sanity is a madness put to a good use.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Movies are more a habit than an interest with me. My favorites are historical dramas, adventure stories and British comedies. However I’ve got a huge collection ranging from Amadeus to Beerfest!

Music:
As with any traveler, I keep my iPod close at hand… and keep it stocked with a large range of tunes. I’ll listen to anything from Mozart to Nickelback or Tim McGraw to ABBA. I figure, you’ve gotta have a little bit of everything to go along with just about any mood you find yourself in.

Books:
First off, they’re called “Historical Romances” – not “Trashy Novels”!! But whatever you call them, I find them fun and a good way to relax my mind when I’m stressed. I also read a lot of fantasy, love Shakespeare, and enjoy historical fiction. And though its not technically a “book”, I am fascinated by the “random article” button at Wikipedia.com and can amuse myself for hours with that little button.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cool Eats: Scorpions and dog
Cool Sees: The Badlands, Mayan ruins and The Great Blue Hole
Cool Dos: Swimming with Sharks, hiking The Great Wall, learning to fire 8lb cannons

Teach, Learn, Share

I lived in China for almost 3 years and am more than willing to share ups and downs from there...If you're wanting to learn, I can shoot blackpowder muskets, play cribbage, say the Pledge of Allegiance in Latin, and count to 10 in 5 languages - would love to learn to do it in a few more!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands, U.S.
