I am a friendly extroverted person who gets excited very easily. Absolute ENFP, if you know what that is :)

I like being around people, and I value respect and fairness.

I enjoy analytical discussions and trying to get down to the bottom of opinions. I believe that disagreements are really just misunderstandings, and that there are no such things as 'bad guys'.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is relative.

I believe in different sets of morals according to situations. You might treat your best friend or a stranger you meet at the bus stop differently than you would need to deal with an entire nation as it's leader.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This actually seems like a very useful website. I haven't really had my own place before, but when I do get a place alone/with other people who are interested in hosting, I will definitely start hosting surfers whenever possible. I have done most of my travelling by just staying with friends, old friends, new friends, and I have always been happy to invite my them to stay with me too. It is just the best way to travel. Couch Surfing seems like the exact same concept but as a giant community instead of a small circle of friends. I am sure that this site will be a part of all my future travel plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! But I have been meeting strangers from the internet and making friends with them for as long as I can remember.

Interests

I can (really!) get interested in pretty much anything! My two favorite things are languages and board games :)
In September I'm starting university in St. John's, Newfoundland, for linguistics. My current future (OXYMORON!?) plans are to specialize in language documentation/conservation/revitalization and preserve them as best I can. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of types of music. If you want to take me seriously, my favorite musician is Lajkó Félix. If you like dancing, I love reggaeton. I also used to be into metal and I still retain a love for black metal.

I like foreign movies and music, largely because of the different langauges. I hate movies and stories that antagonize somebody as 'evil'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many little things can be so amazing, but I can't recall any one big incredible event. I guess I would have to say the feeling of coming home to BC is one of the most special. There is not quite anything like a gorgeous lake in the summertime, in the middle of nowhere with the Rockies in the background.
