About Me

I've been a traveler forever and love experiencing new places, meeting new people, and seeing the world. I'm a dancer and that is my pursuit, but I do a lot of other things too (rock climb, bike, hike), and I never leave the house without a book on me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would always rather stay with locals when visiting a country, as truly immersing myself as much as possible in the culture of the place i'm visiting is one of the most important aspects of traveling for me, and one of the most interesting. I love learning about the various places around the world and experiencing new beautiful countries! I really value human connections and it's amazing to have friends around the world. For me it is also very difficult to afford housing or spend lots of money travelling, since I am a university student and don't have much in terms of funds.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love reading, it's one of my favorite hobbies - I think books are so valuable and can really expand your mind and open you to new perspectives. Some of my favorites are The Palm-Wine Drinkard (by Amos Tutuola), Anil's Ghost (by Michael Ondaatje), and The Master and Margarita (by Mikhail Bulgakov).
I listen to all types of music and love all kinds. I'm especially into electronic music like Kaytranada, Rufus du Sol, etc; and love hardcore too. I always love music you can dance to, as I love dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can climb to the tops of bridges and buildings pretty well....

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to do any type of language exchange, I absolutely love learning languages and would be willing to help others! I can also help plan trips, as I've travelled quite a bit and am really good at planning/itineraries and finding cool spots. I am a dancer and former gymnast, and I love sharing this.
