About Me

Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die!

I'm just a random dude. I grew up in the "South" in the USA, went to live in Japan for 3 years, and now I'm back. And I still feel like traveling. I guess I could consider myself an odd person... people say so anyway. I do like sitting around watching movies and anime and playing videogames, but I also love to be outdoors. I like to go on adventures in forests and on mountains. I like traveling in order to learn more about the world and about myself. I constantly listen to music. I enjoy having wonderful friends and family more than anything. I want to meet new and awesome people and have crazy adventures, experiences and conversations with them. I want to see the world.

I think it's important to have the most enjoyable life possible, while being responsible and constructive with our time in this world. We only have one chance at this as far as I can tell, so we should do it as hard and well as we can. I believe we create our own purpose by existing. I believe finding the truth of an idea or situation is not only necessary but immensely fun. I believe we should be more open and free. I hope to give and receive as much love and knowledge as possible while being alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I give away bananas.

Not too much yet, but I've slept on a lot of random couches in my lifetime and vice versa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

HA HA HA! You'll just have to wait for story time. I LOVE to tell stories about my crazy adventures of lost minds, confusing cultures and physical exuberance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm the kind of person that knows a mediocre amount about tons of things, instead of being an expert at one. I like to think that I know a fair amount about the philosophy of religions, playing guitar, computers, Photoshop, videogames, Japanese anime, bourbon, the effects of several special "substances" and Japanese culture and language.

I'm interested in learning just about anything I suppose.
