Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

when i return from my travels, i plan on opening up my home to fellow couch surfers. i always try to return favors and im a strong believer in good karma.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've slept on many couches, but none yet that i have found via this website. i've heard many good things though.

Interests

i really enjoy cycling, especially long distance touring. i have a degree in biology, and find nature and being outdoors to be where i am most at peace. i am a fairly good swimmer and snowboarder. practicing foreign languages and learning about different cultures is also of great interest to me. and i really enjoy listening to and making music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have been fairly restless for almost a year now. in the spring of 2011, my friend and i cycled to Chicago from Minneapolis, and i have not been in one place for much more than a month since. last summer i spent a good deal of time in northern Minnesota. last autumn myself and two friends took a 3 month roadtrip out west and camped in and explored many of the national parks out there. and i have recently returned from a month long trip to the island of Maui in Hawaii.
