Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a very curious person and I like to discover new places. It's always nice when you go to a new country and stay with people who know and live in that country! I like to discuss with people from other countries and cultures different than mine.

Interests

I'm a very sportive person: I particularly like playing ice/inline hockey and surf. I enjoy rugby a lot. But I'm also very interested in literature and art. As a matter of fact, I'm an art student in Weymar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer mainly latin-american music (merengue and salsa: Rubén Blades, Hector Lavoe, La Fanya, TNT Band, Juan Luis Guerra...), but I'm open to every kind: from classical to heavy metal. My favorite books are The love in the times of cholera by Gabriel García Marquez, Nine stories by J.D. Salinger and The lord of the Rings. And about movies, even thought I like directors like Tarkovski and Kaurismaki, my favorite movie is 500 days with summer.

I can teach how to play guitar, how to make a labyrinth, how to cook some dishes and desserts. I want to learn mainly about the culture of the places I go. I like to share about my experience travelling and hear about the other's.
