Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None officially, however I love to travel & have done the hostel route & enjoyed the times I met people during my past travels. I am starting this profile because I'm doing a race in Austin, TX in October & all of the hotels seem to be booked for that weekend. Might as well expand my horizons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Palau....it's like a 5th world for diving. Watching worldwide sporting events live: World Cup 2002 in Seoul Korea (US vs Portugal, Australian Open 2003, Winter Olympics Torino Italy 2006, Game 7 World Series 2001). Boat ride from Sorrento Italy around positano, isle of capri, & Amalfi coast. & the extreme poverty in central america & the Philipines.
