I'm Mike and I love to travel, meet new people, and try new foods! My favorite countries include Netherlands, Vietnam, and Thailand.

I'm always down to try new foods, especially home-cooked or local cuisine!

I work in tech and have worked as a software engineer before and more recently I'm a product manager. I love learning about all things technology and how to make the world a better place with technology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing mainly to meet new people. When I travel, I notice that I really like to feel like I'm a local and a part of the city rather than in a hotel tucked away in the city. I also want to listen to everyone's interesting stories.

Interests

I'm a very active person who likes to play soccer, go on hikes, and generally walk around a city. I usually prefer walking or biking in a new city rather taking cabs to get around. I feel it really helps you connect with a city and discover new and interesting places.

I also naturally love exploring new cuisines and trying out some interesting beers!
