I'm a recent college graduate working at my local college as a math tutor, I have just graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a degree in computer science and seeking full time work. I currently live with my parents in Santa Clarita, just north of Los Angeles. (close by to six flags) My main goal as of this moment, is to eventually move north and find work in the tech industry developing computer solutions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to broaden my horizon, and explore new places and begin my migration north, finding a job after college has been difficult to say the least. I don't have a lot of money to my name and I can no longer count on my parents to fund my personal endeavors. I don't have two many people in my life and have very few people to turn to if I'm in need. So I'm looking towards the kindness of people to help me in my quest for independence and self discovery.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite things are some of the things I have listed in "My Interests" Photography is a passion of mine, I like to shoot landscape photos, and make nature videos. I like to create my own photo projects to challenge my photo skills, and learn new things about photography. I like to take star photos and time lapses of stars, however this is a hit or miss here in Los Angeles :( One reason why I want to start couch surfing, to get out there and see the stars and experience nature, something the city does not offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was graduating from college. I like to challenge myself and try things that are known to be hard. Since I was a child, I head things from teachers like "college is not for everyone" or "you wont be college ready". I took what my teachers said and used it as fuel to accomplish what many thought I could not do. During my whole educational career, I feet like I was trying to paddle up river going against the current. Over coming this challenge helped me to fulfill the 20 years I spent working on my educational career.

I possess a wealth of knowledge ranging from mathematics, computers, mechanical things , servicing pools, landscaping, irrigation, plumbing, painting, automotive, lifting heavy objects, organization, I come from a house hold where if something was broken we would always fix it are self, and excuses where not an option.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be willing to help the host in any way I could, One thing I'm starting to get into is tutoring math, so I would more then willing to trade my math knowledge and other knowledge for a place to stay. I can also help with home Improvements, landscaping , moving furniture, organization, computer issues, servicing pools, If there is something not listed here that your looking for, Ask me and will work together to figure out a solution.
