ABOUT ME

Hello hello, I'm Michael. Working in IT for a bank in Wellington. Needless to say, this means I'm keeping my head down and hanging onto my job for the time being!

Apart from work I do some karate/kickboxing stuff, nab a drink or hit a gig pretty regularly, and try to get some reading and sleeping in when I can swing it ;)

Haven't had a huge amount of travel experience. Taken a few different trips, done some backpacking, etc. but nothing on a huge scale. The time for that will come. In the meantime I'm trying to get myself established in an industry where I can be mobile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't think anyone will argue that it's good to know locals when you hit a new town. So I figure this is a good way to help welcome a few people to Wellington, and perhaps make some friends along the way.

Unfortunately my current apartment is slightly smaller than a shoebox, so I don't have a spare bed or couch at this time. But I'll buy you a drink :)
