Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to grow as a person alongside good company.
ABOUT ME
I long for the day when a society emerges that fosters the complete realization of humanity; a society where men and women of all ages can reach our full human potential. This society cannot exist, however, when we as humans treat each other as a means rather than an ends. Therefore, we must transcend the current social system which is built upon the the pernicious pillars of profit and greed that have stolen from us what is most sacred - life itself.
My areas of focus include: The concept of democracy and how it relates to the micro and macro-level economy i.e. cooperative workplace organization/development, etc.. The phenomenon of de-industrialization and its relationship to employment, urban development and gentrification. The social and psychological pathologies related to unemployment. The convergence of Climate Change, Peak Energy and Capitalism.
I like to have a good time in life. I love to have a few drinks at a pub with some music, or sit around a fire sharing stories or discussing philosophy with some mind-enhancing friends ;)
I have an awesome girlfriend named Paola who happens also to be my designated travel partner. She is someone who manages to be delightfully lighthearted and provokingly deep simultaneously.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat no one as a means to an end, maintain a steady critique of oneself and society, embrace every opportunity to live life to its fullest, and never consider living and loving to be anything other than an art that must be learned.

I am also really pumped about attending local CouchSurfing member gatherings!
