ABOUT ME

In 2010 I quit the rat race and started living very frugal on my sailing boat. And to earn money I started busking throughout Europe (playing music in the street). This way I was combining the 2 things I love most in life : playing music for people and sailing. Unfortunately, at one point I couldn't get my beloved boat seaworthy anymore so I had to make the tough choice to replace her. So after a lot of busking (mainly in Portugal) I made enough money and bought my next boat. The boat is located in the UK. I cannot live on her and sail her yet, she still needs a lot of work.
So this year I will be mainly doing that (and making lots of music obviously)

I'd like to think of myself as an openminded, friendly, giving person who likes a good laugh, but I also appreciate a good meaningfull conversation.
I'm also a bit of a dreamer sometimes and I do have my low moments, but they usually don't last long.

I love nature, rural environments and especially the sea. I do like some cities, but if I spend too much time in the big ones, my head short-circuits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and surfed and I love it! It really gives a new and fresh dimension to my life (and I also hope to the surfers/hosts I meet). Couchsurfing can really connect people and it is a perfect opportunity to share, which I love!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm like a sponge and I think learning is fun, so bring it on! I would love to learn how to cook better, how to improve my busking skills, how to sing better.
If you like I could show you how to play guitar, learn how to sail (when I have my new boat), how to video edit, how to produce music (mainly the tech stuff > mixing consoles/protools, etc).
