Hi!

My name is Michelle and I am a 32 year old Canadian who loves to travel, cook, and make new friends abroad! I'm outgoing and well-mannered, but also have great sense of humour thanks to my trash-mouth friends and British parents. I'm athletic and energetic and appreciate a great adventure; always thrill seeking in the forests, oceans, beaches, and cities. I'm a high school theatre arts teacher and I love what working with youth in the arts and cultivating their passion for curiosity and people. I enjoy plays, live music, reading, art, dance, and a world of creative expressions. I'm adaptable and easy to get along with - my friends think I'm the best, my Mum wishes we were friends and my Dad wishes I would travel less so he would worry less.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch-surfing is a great way to really feel a country, city, or town. It's always best experienced through the eyes of the local and the energy of a traveller, so naturally it makes sense to combine both.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music shows and my musical genres range from bluegrass and folk, to country, to hop hop, to movie soundtracks, indie pop, classic rock....it's a broad appreciation. I collect Vinyl because I'm a hipster like that, but mostly I just appreciate the time it takes to put on a track and enjoy it before it's all over.

Movies - yes please.

Books - I read constantly. I can't even delve into that here.
