ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and friendly and looking to explore the world. I believe in green living as much as possible, but I'm not hardcore. I love DIY projects so there isn't a room in the house that is completely "done" yet because I can always see new possibilities.

We own a triathlon store so you would think that I run, bike and swim -- and I really should -- but, alas, I do not. Ironman is my husband's thing, but the store is a family affair so I help with marketing and the financials.

It will all work out -- it might be different than you what hoped or expected, but it will all work out the way it is meant to be. So, open yourself up to the world around you and take a risk, do something different,.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can't travel as much as we would like to so I'm interested in hosting Couchsurfers so you can bring the world to us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are just getting started with Couchsurfing and recently hosted our first surfer. It was a great experience and we look forward to our next one.

Interests

I can't act, sing or dance, but I love the theatre! I go to shows as often as I can and help our local theatre group with marketing and publicity. We've done Les Miserables, Rent and A Chorus Line - next summer it will be Avenue Q and Miss Saigon.

When I'm not at a show, I'm a slightly granola wife and mother focused on living sustainably, having fun and raising two teenagers to be productive members of society.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - I love books! Some favorites are: The Art of Racing in the Rain, The Memory Keepers Daughter, Pride and Prejudice, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Her Fearful Symmetry and the Harry Potter series.
Movies - I could spend the entire day at the movie theater watching one movie after another. Life is Beautiful is my all time favorite. Others are Finding Neverland, Life of Pi, Love Actually, Slumdog Millionaire....I could go on and on.
Music - I'm a musical theatre fan so sing me a show tune and watch me smile!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmmm - I know I have a lot to learn, but what could I teach? Well, I throw a great party and could show you how to whip one up in a few hours time. It's all about being creatively organized, letting go of perfection and being open to the unconventional.
