I want to meet people from all around the world, learn from them, and hopefully offer them the same kind of enrichment in return.

ABOUT ME

I'm a high school English teacher who took a year off to do a bit of traveling and relocate to a new city. I'm enjoying the opportunity to meet new people, explore the world, and spend time with my fiance, family, and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I just love living. I love waking up and seeing the sunshine. I love the little flowers that grow out of the sidewalk. I love the smell of books, the smell of mountain air, the smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen. The small things bring me joy.

I love children's lit. This includes everything from Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia to The Giver and The Graveyard Book. I'm also a big fan of John Steinbeck, Emily Dickinson, and George Orwell.

Right now I'm into sort of folksie music with a good melody.
