About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've chosen to accept it.

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing introvert, a living oxymoron if you will. I like to challenge myself and do adventurous things, but I am socially awkward. Anxiety ridden, full of doubts, self aware, scared, and I am attempting to channel all that energy into changing and opening up. I have big dreams to travel the world, taste all the food I can, meet as many people as I can, and experience new things. I am afraid of this big crazy world we live in and I want to take it head on.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem. Nolle timere.

We get one life, as afraid as I am to live it, that's what I intend to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't couch surfed yet, but I am hoping to in my travels to Colorado this coming summer. (2014)

Interests

I attempt to play the ukulele, I love to sing. I cook and bake all the time. I like watching funny movies, and surfing the internet for new weird things, whether it's a research study or a weird invention that is now on the market.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to so many different kinds of music. I'm an avid concert goer. I'm just starting to become a bookworm. I prefer to watch movies in the comfort of my home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of Cathedral, a small mountain in Estes Park, Colorado. It was accessible from the camp I worked at, and a small group of us hiked it together during our staff training period. I did it with someone who I love dearly, and would not have been in CO if it hadn't been for them. So getting to the top, looking over the camp as a whole, and over at other mountains, waiting to be climbed, not asking for your attention, but getting it anyway; it was a beautiful moment in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Baking. The love of food, and the joy it can bring to make and enjoy food in the company of others. The table is a place of togetherness, I want to fuel the passion of food in others through my travels and I want to learn what they like to prepare to bring together their friends. Food is a passion and a way of life.
