I am from South Africa, currently in Chicago, US for 2 months of work. I would love to travel in the States as much as possible while I am here. I am new to Couchsurfing and would love to try it out!

I am in a long-term relationship, with my honey waiting for me back home.

I love staying active and healthy. Back home in South Africa I part-own a Crossfit gym on the side. I applaud any kind form of fitness, as long as you find something that you love and is passionate about to keep loving your body.

I'm not a huge party person, but I enjoy a good time every now and again. I am a chilled out friendly guy and easy to get along with. Keen to learn new things from other countries and share experiences!

I don't do any hardcore drugs. If you're into that scene, it's best not to host/surf with me. 420 friendly tho! 😊

I am very neat on myself and also won't get in your face. I am also very self-sufficient.

My current favourite traveling destination is South East Asia. Thailand and Vietnam in particular, such amazing coutries!

Keen to meet new people and share experiences. I also believe it's best to stay with a resident in a city because they usually have the best advice on how to make the most of your visit!

There's many!
- Visited the Angkor Wat Temples in Cambodia - what an incredible, sacred place! I could have lost myself in the temples for days!
- Swam with plankton in Phi Phi Leh at night
- Drank beer out of tin foil baking tray cups on the streets of Venice at midnight
- Been in world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai
- Ran naked through a village at midnight on an island in Mozambique
(Lots of things happen at midnight for me ;-P

I can make a meal, South African style (usually with wine). I'll be honest, I'm not a masterchef but at least you won't get a burnt meal, hopefully ;)

I am a very active person so I'd love to train with you! Whether its running, functional fitness, yoga, meditation (recently started and I love it!).

I love long, positive and funny conversations over some beers or a good glass of red wine.

I am very friendly and easy to get along with.
