ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old university graduate who has inevitably caught the "wanderlust bug." I have a desire to see as much of the world as I can within my lifetime. I want to meet new people and learn from them, eat new foods, participate in local traditions and even do some touristy things along the way. I want to be a teacher one day and I hope to bring my worldly experiences to the classroom with me as I see it to be more valuable than anything from a textbook.

I attempt to live my life to the fullest each and every day. Travel is a passion of mine and fills me with joy, wonder, and amazement. My personal motto is, "follow your heart and wish with the wind."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few incredible surfing experiences so far while backpacking through Europe. The individuals I stayed with showed me the beauty of this awesome community of couch surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide variety of music...especially live music. I am no movie buff, but I sure do love a movie and some popcorn every now and then. I have only gotten into reading in the last couple of years, but I am enjoying it more and more each day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked at an international children's summer camp in Croatia for 3 months. Got the privilege to be surrounded by children from all over the world. Learned so much about different cultures but was also humbled to see that kids are kids no matter where in the world they are from.

Backpacked through Europe for 3 months. Traveled through 15 countries.

Taught English as a second language in Thailand. Living and breathing such an incredibly different and unique culture for 6 months was truly amazing.

Backpacked through SE Asia. Traveled through 4 countries.

Got the amazing opportunity to travel to Cuba as an American (legally)

Currently living and working in the bustling metropolitan city of Panama City, Panama
