Présentation
À propos de moi
What can I say? Not a whole lot to me. I try to be funny. Typical guy in most respects - sports, bars, music, movies, outdoors. I have some good stories, but I'm much more interested in hearing other people's.
I like to meet people from other countries.
PHILOSOPHY
- Don't send requests if you don't read the profiles
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
CURRENT MISSION
At the moment all I want to do is meet some interesting people. Hear some good stories. And have some good times out doors & out on the town with guests. Couchsurfing is a good way to do that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just been hosting and so far everybody's been really cool. Interesting & fun. No bad apples!
Well that's not entirely true...
I love hosting foreigners!
But I've hosted a couple groups of surfers who spoke almost no English. And we could barely converse! They read & wrote English, but didn't say anything about not "speaking" any English.
So when they got here, they spent the whole time talking to each other and left me out of the conversation completely . That's no fun at all!
So my new rule is if you can't "speak" any English? Sorry, you can't stay here.
Also - I get a bunch of requests every week that are just copy & paste messages, that are sent out to tons of random people, hoping anyone will accept. I understand people are using Couchsurfing because they need a place to stay. But I'd rather host guests that take a little more time to consider who they're trying to stay with.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I listen to rock, punk rock, alternative. I'm not sophisticated enough to appreciate a good Jazz song? Three top flicks are Anchorman, Fight Club, and Casino. I need to read more books. Mostly I read magazines
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Fed monkeys in Malaysia, pet tigers in Thailand, rode an elephant in Phukett & swam with sharks in Singapore.
This all might not exactly sound "Amazing" to everyone...
But I thought it was pretty cool.
I've always wondered what it would be like to (live) through a natural disaster.
Something more interesting than an earthquake. Weather is just a thing I hear about on the news. If you want just relaxing, manageable, uneventful seasons? You have to move to the west coast.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I just want to hear about the places I haven't been to - from the people who've lived there.
And if there's time, you can even here about my experiences
