I can salsa dance and hangglide, I'm doing my PhD in philosophy of science so I know some (mostly useless) stuff. But I can tell you what the meaning of life is. I read and love movies and art. I teach martial arts (will teach for couch space!).

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I'm in Rome at the moment, and this morning I saw St. Peter's Basilica and it blew my mind. I'm sure they had that in mind when they built it, but I can't believe humans are capable of creating things like that. The expression on the face of the woman in Michaelangelo's "Pieta" was extremely moving. What else. When my students get a difficult concept in philosophy class. When my students finally learn to perform some of the magic that martial arts make possible. Once when I was hanggliding I saw the moon rising and the sun setting at once. But honestly, food excites me more than anything.
