My name is Mike Vo, short for Michel Vo. I am a 23 years old architecture student that took a year off and decided to backpack around the world. Beside my study I work as an freelance photografer. I am a vietnamese by blood, but came to Norway when I was 1 years old, grew up here and adapt to this country. At the end of the day I will say that I am more norwegian than vietnamese. Even tough I try to keep the best of both culture.

I have always been passionate about experience the world and finally I am taking my time to explore and experience this world. I am a man with no plan and going to travel the around the world for months with a friend of mine called David Aas Correia. I don't no where I'm going, I don't have any plan, I don't have any destination, this trip is my goal. And the trip starts at the 21st of January 2016.

I am a social, easygoing and open minded person that like to try new things. I want to meet fellow travellers and locals who can show me a good time. I respect other cultures and will do my best to not offend it. I want to live a happy life and have a good time all the time! I'm always looking for new sources of inspiration and ideas. As an photographer I look for every perfect moments to capture in different situations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time on Couchsurfering and I have no experience about coach surfing. So i wanted to give i a try. I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet local people who have experience and knowledge about the place where I'm going. Who can show me the culture from a locals point of view, who can show me the best cuisine, who can show me the best event or the best party, who can show me the best activity and who can give me the best experience about a country, place, culture, society or cuisine.
