I run a business in Auckland, I spend a ridiculous amount of time at work and try and find a bit of spare time for socialising and enjoying life - to be fair though, my business is where I derive most of my pleasure.

I haven't travelled much, but love living vicariously through the travel stories of others.

Not having much spare time, I can't promise I'd be able to show a guest around the city, but if the timing happened to be over a weekend or of an evening, it might be possible. Some of my favourite spots in Auckland are:
The West Coast Beaches
The walks through native bush in the Waitakere Ranges (15 minute drive from my house)
Bike riding the city trails that meander from my place in the West, through some gorgeous city parks and then across the motorway cycle track into downtown Auckland, That takes you all the way to Wynyard quarter, beautiful restaurants, bars and cafes.
Making Pizza in my own wood fired oven. It takes about 3 hours to warm up, so it really is a weekend activity.

I'm vegetarian, but no problem hosting meat eaters.

I had an account on here years ago and really enjoyed hosting people. I love meeting people from all around the world. My Daughter is travelling in the UK at the moment, and I figure I'd love it if people would show her kind and generous hospitality, so I figure it would be good if I could offer the same to travellers to my country.
