About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spend the next 10 months travelling the world to learn about people, places and myself.
ABOUT ME
Left uni with a law degree and wasn't sold an a career in law so i worked for a while to save up for my travels. I've gone through life so far without any clear direction or idea where i'm going. I have the questions, just not the answers. Currently, i'm working on finding out how best for me to spend my life. I guess you can't plan too much and i'm not the kind of person who would.
PHILOSOPHY
Currently working on it. Everyone has to be themselves and realise only they are responsible for their life. Live for this life but don't just exist without questioning yourself every now and again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to this so at the moment it's limited - although i hope to learn more about the whole couchsurfing experience as i go along. Currently i will just be looking to surf but when i get home and get a couch i would definitely like to try hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, yet.
Interests
Music. I listen to a lot of stuff but my main interest areas are indie, electronic, alternative rock. Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Smashing Pumpkins.
Films. Again, i'm open to anything but i always find indie, off-beat or left of mainstream stuff more interesting. Oldboy, Requiem For a Dream, The Lives of Others.
Books. I more picky with literature. I like dark novels or something that has some kind of philosophical idea behind it. I try not to limit myself, though. I'm always open to recommendations. Catcher in the Rye, Kafka on the Shore, The Castle, American Psycho.
Sport. Football (Manchester United), Cricket, will watch others every now and again.
Meeting people. This can be the highlight of travelling. The people make the places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Various things throughout my time travelling. Can't think of anything special off the top of my head.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always open to sharing my ideas (especially after a few drinks). I can't think of specifics but a good conversation always leads to teaching, learning and sharing on both sides.
