ABOUT ME

I think I'm wired a bit differently than most. I don't want to settle down, have a career, buy a house or have a family. At least not anytime soon. I love new experiences and I'm somewhat of a vagabond. I live in Alaska during the summers and retreat to warmer climates in the winter. Home is just wherever I happen to be at the time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel a lot and don't really hold a permanent year round residence. I live in about 3 states in a year. Alaska this summer, and Hawaii again this winter! I'm usually unable to hosts guest since the demand for Hawaii is very high, however I am usually down to meet up with people and play tour guide, if I'm not working.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first used couchsurfing my second summer in Alaska. I met some great friends in the process. While I lived in Hawaii my ex girlfriend and I hosted 3 surfers and had some great experiences.

Standing on top of Mauna Kea Volcano at Sunset was a really moving experience, one of the most incredible things I've ever seen

I'm a certified driving instructor so if you need help learning to drive or to refine your driving skills I can help with that, I also can give stand up paddleboard lessons and some basic music lessons for guitar and bass
