ABOUT ME

After I graduated from college, I went to work in New York City as an investment banker. (Sooo not for me!) After several years, I quit to become a Kiva Fellow, which allowed me to work at 3 different microfinance institutions in Bosnia, Kenya and the Philippines. After an epic year of travel, I returned to New York to start my own organization to help young people launch projects that make a positive impact on the planet. (www.pandoprojects.org.) In October, I put Pando on hold and have spent the last 5 months living in Hong Kong. I am now moving to San Francisco, which has always felt like home.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't care how long it takes me, I'm going somewhere beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed before, but my lovely sister has been couch surfing for years and recommended it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went white water rafting on the Nile in Uganda. Our raft capsized four times in class 5 rapids, into water with crocodiles and snakes! One of the most intense experiences of my entire life.
