Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To experience the world and spread kindness wherever I go.
ABOUT ME
I am starting a PhD in astrophysics at the University of Washington where I'll be studying exoplanets and the properties that make them habitable. Outside of my studies, I am a seasoned hiker, having extensively hiked the Appalachian mountains and recently became a novice rock climber. Contrary to the rugged mountains, I grew up on the Gulf Coast and consequently enjoy surfing and spending time at the beach. Some of my more tame interests include the art of brewing: coffee, tea, beer, kombucha, I am fascinated with turning water into something more.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
What better way to experience the world than to meet the people that know it better than I do? I am interested in making (hopefully lifelong) connections with the people I meet so that I can have a more worldly outlook on life. I am open to new experiences and trying new things!

Música, películas y libros
MUSIC
I have a big ole soft spot for 90s hip hop-- A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers are my jam!
I really like folksy things-- I recently say the Fleet Foxes in concert in DC!
MOVIES
Into the Wild is one of my favorite movies of all time, and probably my inspiration for couch surfing and traveling.
BOOKS
Okay I'll admit it-- 90% of the books I read are textbooks but if given the chance I like to read real-life wilderness adventures. Jon Krakauer is one of my favorite authors.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I fixed the Hubble Space Telescope. Host me to find out how! ;)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I am interested in learning about what others are passionate about.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I can answer any and all questions about astrophysics! I've worked at NASA, SETI, and Hubble mission control!
