I'm a 22 year old student currently living in Aix-en-Provence in southern France. Exchange semester has been great so far and I love having lots of time to travel and to meet new people!

I'm open-minded, laid back and really just try to enjoy my time and life as fully as possible! I love having fun in all kinds of ways from partying till sunrise to just chilling outdoors or enjoying culture in every way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm eager to learn new things about people, different cultures and languages so CS is perfect for me.

I'm just a beginner in CS but I really wanna get involved and when I'm going back to Finland I would love to host people and show them around in my smallish but great home city :)

Interests

I love travelling (obviously) and all different kinds of destinations. I love visiting new cities and my favorites like Barcelona over and over again.

I love food and wines! Living in France feels like heaven for me because of that. I'm not really that great cook but I'm always trying and slowly improving, I hope!

My favorite sport is snowboarding and I would love to just live in the Alps every year from December to April. I tried surfing for one week and loved that as well so maybe I should just do that for the rest of the year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music and really love the older stuff like The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan and The Clash just to mention a few and newer music like The xx, Ratatat, Mando Diao, Bon Iver, Passion Pit, Bastille, M83, Ed Sheeran etc.

I watch a lot of movies and love my Netflix :) I can't really name my favorites but I have seen Notting Hill at least 30 times so if I had to mention one..

I love books. I try to read more and more classics but somehow fantasy and crime novels are easiest for me! My favorite book series is Tales from Earthsea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done and what comes first in my mind is jumping off the top of waterfalls to freshwater ponds in Dominican Republic! First hiking and climbing there and then half jumping half sliding was amazing experience and really fun as well!
