is pizza an acceptable mission because my mission is definitely pizza
I have chronic fatigue and a voracious appetite for cupcakes. It's unrelated to anything, but it's interesting at least. [I never know what to say in these things! Also, I never know what to say ever.]
Water off a duck's back!
art in all the various forms it takes, reading books for hours at a time, long bubble baths after a rough day, playing dress up for no reason, pretending to be a supervillain in public just to see peoples' reactions, finding stuff to explore and get lost in, my ever-growing wig collection, and obviously puppies and kittens
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: my one troo passion is late 80's/early 90's black metal from Norway, but I also can't deny my love of Hall & Oates. Have you ever seen Live At Daryl's House? Because it is a life-changing experience, let me tell you. Obviously, I listen to kind of a lot of everything, by which I actually mean I only listen to about a dozen totally unrelated bands but boy do I ever listen to them. I'm always up to try anything new, though. Especially if it's living room karaoke!
Movies: I'm one of "those people" that the Dogme 95 movement really made an impact on. I can get down with horror, scifi, and fantasy especially, but I have a huge weakness for dumb action movies from the 90's. [Die Hard, I'm looking at you.]
Books: anything by Henry Rollins, Anthony Bourdain, Warren Ellis, Chuck Klosterman, or David Sedaris. Don't even get me started on comics unless you don't plan on sleeping.
TV: lots of Game Grumps [not technically TV, it's fine it's okay] and cartoons. I just got caught up on Game Of Thrones and I'm in the precarious situation where I won't shut up about it but I also can't remember anyone's names so um?
Video games: I suck hard at everything besides Battletoads but I'm pretty terrible at Battletoads anyway. I'm getting back into TF2 and Mass Effect though, so that's something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saw a dog in a tutu walk on its back legs. One year later to the day, I met a fire-breathing burlesque dancer at a 24 hour donut place. I don't know if that's the universe's way of trying to tell me something, but if it is, I need the universe to clarify, because that's sending major mixed signals and I'm just so confused.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a little kid, I was a very shy and introverted Scandinavian girl more interested in painting than playing house. 20 years on, I've realized that those paintings are nice, but they're nicer in a house that someone calls home. It's tough to break out of my shell and put myself out there, but I'm constantly trying to push forward and improve, though it's easier to do with someone who will be patient and let me open up than with someone who tries to force me out too quickly. I don't know if any of that makes any sense, but I don't know if anything makes sense at all anyway.
