To gather more unique beet recipes than any one man has ever done before!
I am a stargazing dreamer-- exceedingly nice, easy going and curious about everything. I enjoy coffee, hookahs and chess, and am a beet fanatic-- they are the sweet bleeding hearts of the earth! I excel at laughing, soaking in poetry like sunshine, and purposefully getting lost on the New York subway system.
I'm studying public interest law, but I am also discovering my outermost and innermost limits of awesomeness. I focus on transgender rights, LGBT family construction, and social entrepreneurship. New York is an adventure but I miss quiet and stars and (cleaner) rivers. Beating the pavement is jamming the kneecaps of my wandering spirit.
I like ellipses best-- they're as open-ended as a question mark, but not nearly as uncertain... Assume nothing. There's so much you will never know...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am still new to this, and haven't participated at all yet!
All over the country in friend's houses, but never through this site! Will you be my first host?
My favorite experiences involve epic storytelling late into the night in comfy livingrooms or on back porches while the stars lean in to listen and laugh along with us.
Human rights, poetry, music, chess, coffee, cooking!, food (of all kinds), beets (specifically), running, black & white photography, and delightful conversation!

Música, películas y libros
"Recreational reading"... a phrase which incites nostalgia, serenity, and longing all at the same time. I have sooooo many neglected books (but law school reading cannot claim me forever)... I dabble in a little fiction, but mostly poetry, philosophy, law (yes, recreationally; I know it's sick), political, race and gender theory. Favorites including Kant, Nietzsche, Mary Oliver, Herman Hesse, Pablo Neruda, Tom Robbins, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Kahlil Gibran, James Baldwin and Tim Wise. All-time favorite book: The Giver, by Lois Lowry.
I love documentaries, historical flicks, and foreign films most, but of the "fun" variety: The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Waking Life (an all-time favorite), Sordid Lives, Head, The Life Aquatic, UHF (extra brownie points if you know that one) and Yentl (don't judge).
Random from my library: Andrew Bird, Arcade Fire, Atri N'Assouf, Band of Horses, Ben Folds, Bright Eyes, Buika, Coldplay, Damien Jurado, Dodos, Doves, Fleet Foxes, Fleetwood Mac, Foster the People, Guster, Hooverphonic, Imogen Heap, Jeremy Enigk, Johnny Cash, José González, Joseph Arthur, Journey, Madeleine Peyroux, Massive Attack, Morning Benders, Mountain Goats, Portishead, Radical Face, Radiohead, Shins, Sigur Ros, Simon & Garfunkel, Sonique, Spikedrivers, Steel Train, Sufjan Stevens, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Woods
Algo increíble que he hecho
I've traversed the worlds of female to male. I'm a transgender man, and have all the wisdom that inevitably results from such a hefty anthropological lived experience.
