About Me

reclaim my zen state of mind

I want to live my life in such a way that if I were to die tomorrow, I'd have no regrets.
So far so good.

Want some more details?
I'd consider myself a laid-back person, but most people do and aren't, so maybe I'm wrong.
I always try to see things from every perspective so that there's no blame, only understanding.
I believe that the most important thing in life is happiness. Every day you should be happy. If only for a minute. If not, do something about it.
If you look at it right, everything is beautiful.
I learned a lot on my travels. In Korea I learned how to be patient. In New Zealand I learned how to be adventurous. In Australia I learned things aren't always what they appear.

The adventures of a life are best told over a drink ;)

It's not so much where you are as who you're with...
So pick your people wisely and when you find the good ones, never let go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosted a crapload of people in Seoul and loved it!

I've only hosted so far, but coming to a couch near you soon!
Hosting was amazing and it was my great pleasure taking my surfers to Korean BBQ and showing them a little bit about Korean culture!

Isn't everything interesting in its own right?

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Fight Club, 500 Days of Summer, American Beauty, 28 Days Later, Pandorum... the list really does go on and on. I love movies!
Music: Well all that depends on the mood of the situation, doesn't it? But if it really matters, suffice it to say I can jam to anything :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw more stars than I ever have in my life on the Great Ocean Road in Australia with some of the best people I've met so far :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could talk your ear off about North and South Korea, seeing as I lived in the latter for two years.
And after what may have been the best year of my life in Australia I can give you some perspective on that.
And if you have a hard time seeing it, I can show you how life is beautiful.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, New Zealand, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany, South Korea, United States
