ABOUT ME

I currently live very close to a big city called Stuttgart in the Southwest of Germany. I have finished my Bachelor's degree in Geography a while ago. From my subject you can probably already guess that I really love to travel. I prefer to get to know a different country from the point of view of a local. This is an experience that I got to know through couchsurfing and I appreciate it very much. These past months and years I have done several internships and even worked at an air-port. I think my future plan would be to also do a Master's Degree in Geography, preferably in another country.

What else can be said about me? I have many interests! Travelling and languages, animals (I volunteer in a guinea pig rescue and yes, I'm a bit of a guinea pig expert), writing letters (the old fashioned way with pen and paper) with friends from all over the world, reading, tea drinking, photography... oh and not to forget geocaching, which I've been doing for a year now.

As for my character, I'm introvert and therefore a good listener, but I can also be outgoing after a little warming up. As you can probably imagine, I'm not a so-called party animal. I prefer spending time in a pub or bar talking with friends for hours and I enjoy concerts very much. I'm friendly, calm, tidy, reliable, bit perfectionist, always curious to try something new.

I havn't had an apartment yet, that would be big enough to host someone. However I have already some experiences with being hosted and it was always great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say the most amazing thing I've seen was one of the deserts on my trip to Iran. It's just so beautiful and calming to be in a desert. In contrast, I also find the forests of Finland amazing. : )
