My current mission is exploring the wild east!!!
I am curious, interested in worldly matters, sometimes funny, contemplative, easy-going, loud, loving, generally crazy, lazy and late at most times.
I hated writing term-papers for university, but I love sunshine when I have the time to enjoy it. I studied education and probably will be a teacher for English and Philosophy someday. I am night-active, sentimental, self-confident (sometimes not). I work at a bar, got Wanderlust a lot, miss friends from abroad, went on 3 major trips so far, have a big, crazy family, would like to have a pet and dislike people who get engaged after 2 weeks. I am vain, blonde, like my hands but not my hair, like redwine more than white wine, enjoy being outside, love music, get colds from air-conditioning, don't want to drive a car in the US, interested in politics, ancient philosophy, and just anything that makes me laugh...friends, family...life itself.
Enjoy. Travel. Love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had people stay over through couchsurfing yet but people are always welcome and I get visitors frequently :)
My couchsurfing experiences have always been spontaneous and actually not through this website. I have slept in numerous countries at various places :) (including for example a big and crazy thai family, that just took me to their home after a long busride)
I love travelling, my friends, reading, diving, photography, philosophy in the broadest sense, running, sauna, climbing, and anything that has the potential to challenge me in whatever way.
- white wine
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Among some of my favorite books are "The shadow of the wind" by Zafon, pretty much everything from Bret Easton Ellis and Nick Hornby, "Life of Pi" by Martell, and the lonely planets :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in Indonesia with huge manta rays
Teach, Learn, Share
Try to always sleep on the top bench on long Indian trainrides, it gives you just a little bit of privacy...
And when riding on a boat in Asia, sit as far away from the motor as possible because they are NOISY!
Oh, and mosquito repellent always always needs DEET in it, all the rest is just useless!
There is a difference between platano and banano, only the latter one is enjoyable...
