I live in Oslo in a rented flat with two great roomies. Currently I’m writing a Master’s thesis in Media Studies at University of Oslo. Have the travel bug real bad. Lived in Cape Town for a semester, it was nothing but brilliant. Wanted to write my master’s on a topic that I’m interested in and I therefore chose to make Couchsurfing my research topic. Hoping to get in contact with surfers and hosts in Oslo to interview for my project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Signed up in 2013 and planned to Couchsurf when I travelled in South America spring 2013. Sadly that didn’t happen, but I never lost interest in the site and concept. Hope to experience CS in future travels.

In my research I examine how trust is created between users on Couchsurfing.org and leads to contact in the real world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkelling at the Galapagos Islands, skydive in Cape Town and walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. They were three things, but it’s impossible to just choose one.
