About Me
Hey, I'm Mirjam. I usually live in Dresden, Germany but right now I am an exchange student at the New School for Social Research in New York City for two semesters. I study sociology, history and education and therefore have a penchant for books. I also love spending a relaxed evening with friends, a good glass of wine and good food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to meet new people, share a drink, stories or food, find a place to sleep.
Couchsurfing experience:
I'm pretty new to this site and to surfing, but I've had some great experiences so far travelling the U.S. Also hosting, since my fromer roommate in Dresden had our apartment on CS and I will try to put my future apt up too, if possible because I know how great it is to not only save the hotel money but actually meeting people from all over.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
walked through fresh snow that was up to my knees for 5 hours at night with my friends because we wanted to go sledding. Of course that didn't work with all the snow but it was a very bonding experience. I also did this while wearing 10 layers of tights.
Teach, Learn, Share
my favorite spots in Dresden and around, movies and books.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My food. I have this one amazing recipe for a vegan gravy which goes with about everything.
