If not right now, when?:)
Well, I don't think this short article will give you much information about me or will help you to decide whether to meet me or not, but ok...
I´m 25 years old girl, I really love travelling and all things connected with it and I travel as much as possible - actually that's why I participate in CS. I finished university in Prague recently and I decided not to stay there because it is the best chance and time to see the world right now:). I travelled a lot during my university, I spent my last summer abroad which was amazing and unforgettable time full of fun and memories, but my dream was always to spend longer period of time abroad and really to get to known some foreign culture from its basics. And when to do that if not now?:)
I am a communicative, friendly and open-minded girl who hates boredom. I try to be always optimistic, nevertheless there are some moments I prefer to be alone with my thoughts:).
"Today is a brand new day. A fresh start. Replace any negativity with positivity. Think happy thoughts. Exercise. Drink a lot of water. Fill your body with fuel. Healthy is happy. Inspire yourself. Create. Laugh. Play. Love. Learn. Give someone a compliment. Make a new friend. Do a random act of kindness. Take chances and finally start living life to its fullest. But no matter what's thrown at you today, smile and remember, tomorrow is always a fresh new start."
"If you fell down yesterday, stand up today."
"You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of."
"Always focus how far you have come, rather than how far you have left to go."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I decided to participate in CS to meet new people from all over the world, to see how daily life in other countries can look like and to host people and show the best of my country.
I am an active participant, though I am considerably more active in summer...:) Thanks to the nice people here I could travel quite much and explore new places during my university.
Unfortunately not many people were visiting and staying in my Czech home town and that's why I participated more by surfing rather than by hosting:'(
But now as I moved to "CS favorite" Leipzig few weeks ago and "settled" here down, I decided to pay it back and host people at my place:)
I will never forget people I met here and I will definitely continue with CS, because it makes every moment of my life spent by travelling unforgettable.
It is not important where you travel, but who you travel with and who you meet there. I have visited many famous and popular tourist place, but I have also visited places which you can't find in any tour guide and...these are the places I will NEVER (and mostly because of CS) forget!!!
I will always remember my CS trip in Austria and my threeweek trip to California where I met wonderful people:)
travelling, relaxing, languages, foreign cultures and traditions, photography, meeting people
food, drinks, cooking and eating - esp. chocolate:)
beach in summer and mountains in winter, sometimes cities othertimes countryside
downhill and cross-country skiing, cycling, hiking, ice-skating and inline skating
music, books and movies + reading maps and tour guides
Music, Movies, and Books
We can discuss these later...;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everyday is unique, amazing and unforgetable....
Teach, Learn, Share
I think CS itself is about teaching, learning and sharing things and ideas with people. It is not necessary to describe what I will teach you and what I want to learn from you. People here are so different and just getting to know you moves me always forward:).
I can teach you some Czech words (at least I can try, because it is quite difficult), I can show you how to cook traditional Czech meal, I can show you how to ski, how to knit a scarf:) and many many more:) Depends if we have time for some practical skills - up to now we mostly ended up talking and talking...
And I am opened to all new things and ideas!!!
