ABOUT ME

I am graduating in the summer of 2012, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and I seem to have caught the travel bug! I am a very friendly person, I love to meet new people and engage in new experiences. I love to have fun and I like to be around open-minded people, who are warm and easy to talk to.

I am an altruist and am always willing to help people in any way or form. For example, in the past I have helped out at the hospital a day before my final exam... which of course lead to an all nighter =P. Furthermore, I love to help the poor and needy and basically, I don't like to see anyone troubled.

What makes me happy is to see other altruists, it's because of caring and helpful people that I feel life is worth living and that good people still exist in today's society. I am not a materialistic person and for me someone's thoughfulness and caring deeds mean a lot!

Lastly,I love to explore new places, and take my time to absorb the beauty around me!

The quote mentioned above describes me well! I want to have fun but life is useless if you don't use it to make a difference in the world or in someone's life! It's not just about you...it should be about everyone else as well as yourself :)

Interests

People! I am a people person, that's why I chose to study Psychology :)
I love the nature, and am not afraid of getting lost in new cities and finding my way. I love adventures :)

From the past 3 years I have spent 7-10 hours daily at the library reading textbooks. I have volunteered at the hospital from the past 10 years and I also spend time at Sun Youth in order to help students who are at a high risk of dropping out of High School. I also work part time, at the hospital as a Research Assistant. I am helping a Researcher in her Prenatal mental health studies.

For the longest time I have been too involved in my studies, thus, I really feel like exploring the world after I graduate in June (2012).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went on top of mount-tremblant! The view was breathtaking !
Empire state building and the sears tower in Chicago, again because of the feeling of being on top of the world and looking down and seeing how tiny everything was :)

These experiences were not enough and so I hoping to experience more extraordinary things in life!
