About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Right now I'm travelling across Canada, volunteering my time on various renovation projects, trying to learn how to be a fully fledged DIY queen. Also trying to learn French.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back kind of gal, with an open mind and an adventurous spirit. I'm an idealist, according to some personality test I took (ironically, this is not always ideal). For the past 7 years I've lived in London working in TV, cycling the streets, buying flowers at the Sunday Market, having beers with friends, visiting expos, and all the other kind of things big cities have to offer. What I really love though is being out in nature. Like everyone else on here, I love to travel, and have been lucky enough to have visited many countries over the years, and have just quit my job to move to Canada. I'm wondering if I will ever settle in one place.

PHILOSOPHY

Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experiences on Couch Surfing have been only few, but the connections I've had through this site have always been brilliant. It's such a great way to travel and meet people.

I only stayed on one couch back in Argentina when I joined 7 years ago, and we are still friends to this day. More recently I had a great time traveling and staying on couches across Mexico with a friend, using her account. I'll add a link to it shortly.

One day when I'm eventually settled somewhere, with a place of my own, I also hope to offer a couch.

Interests

Things I like:
Cycling; being outdoors; getting lost in a new city; getting lost in a good book; having no sense of time.

Things I don't like:
Grey skies and cold rainy days that occur more than sporadically; people who are mean; drinks that are blue in colour (it's just not natural) and migraines.

Teach, Learn, Share

Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

...after reading other people's pages, I think I missed the point of this.
