My mission is to live freely and love openly. I hope to meet people who will expand my mind and introduce me to new and exciting ideas and adventures.

ABOUT ME

Who am I? I am a free spirit. I am extremely compassionate which lead me to give back to my community. I currently volunteer at a homeless shelter, and studied Non Profit Organization Management at University. I am outgoing, fun, adventurous, artistic, caring and family oriented. I like to express my creative self through photography.*A moment captured in time* I can be old fashion in values and ways of life. For example, I prefer to cook from scratch, rather than buy packaged/processed food. Which leads me to another huge interest of mine... FOOD!! I love to cook and I love to eat. I am obsessed with culture and appreciate the simpler things in like. I am an earth child, who feels through nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Live honestly. Love deeply. Manifest my own reality by creating consciously. Taking responsibility for everything that happens in life and having faith that this lesson will indeed bring me to where I need to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch at the moment for someone to come and stay. I am living back home with my family. But as soon as I do, you will know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have nestled in on a lot of couches, but I have never stayed on someone's couch whom I've met through couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I love self realization books, you know.... Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Louise Hay. But I also really enjoy fun reads by Authors like Sofie Kinsella. And who doesn't enjoy a good cry with books such as "A thousand splendid suns" and "My sister's Keeper". A book has the power to let you envision more depth to a story. Through your eyes, you see the character, the place, the sunset.
Movies: I love those typical classics, Dirty Dancing; The Goonies; Ghost. But I love newer flicks as well...Avatar, Love and Other drugs is my current fave! Eat pray love <3

Music: I don't go a day without listening to music. I am ever so diverse when it comes to music but I adore acoustic indie rock; like Ben Iver, City and Colour, The XX. I also love soul sounds like Enya...My roots are from Classic rock, thanks to my music obsessed dad. I know how to bust a move or two to techno....and I adore piano. Musical expression can take you into a trance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love when I learn something new and interesting that makes me think twice about my life, or what I do, or what I can do, what is possible? Teach me something with value, something I can carry with me through life, open my eyes to new and interesting experiences. I love to learn. I take everyday as a learning lesson. Life is my school and I am excited to learn even the hardest lessons because I know they will add to the unique individual that I am.
