I once saw two drunk teenage boys crawl out of a car-wreck that should have killed them. One of them had a small scratch on his t-shirt.

I'm interested in Distributism (I think that's what it's called), which is an economic theory based on the family as the primary producation unit. GK Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc were key exponents, and they were both poets, and I like that.
I'm also interested in learning about alternative methods of education (like Steiner & others) and how we can learn to love learning.
