I'm an engineer and an experienced backpacker & world traveler.

I develop web applications, provide software engineering consulting services, and I run SiteDistrict, a WordPress hosting service.

I've traveled to about 45 countries, and I spend 3.5 years straight backpacking South America, Oceania, and Asia, from 2002 - 2006. Since that big trip I've also been back to Asia briefly, to Namibia, Jordan, Panama, Mexico, and Iceland.

I enjoy travleing solo, but also with others that like to travel like I do. I've traveled extensively with my friend Fredrick (Swedish), including through Australia, Asia, Namibia, and Jordan. I love meeting new people, talking about travel, science & technology, or anything else interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was involved with the Phoenix, AZ group of Couchsurfing back in 2007 - 2011. My ex has a Couchsurfing account that we shared until our breakup last year.

I made a lot of great friends through Couchsurfing, and I/we've hosted multiple people.
