I enjoy the outdoors from walking around a city until my feet are on fire to hiking around the mountains. I am originally from New York and have lived in California, Oregon, Hawaii and now Washington. I am politically engaged very left in my political philosophy. I value greatly warm, honest and compassionate people and welcome them into my life.

Interests

I love travelling to Central America and hope to make it to all parts of this diverse and fascinating world. I really enjoy meeting people through my journeys and hearing about their lives.
I love good movies, good food, playing, biking, hosting dinner parties and working with a great group of people to help preserve the ecosytem in which we work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Ticker Tape parade in New York for Nelson Mandella. It seems like ages ago but I remember it as a warm and touching feeling and a strong sense of a world community.
The ruins of Tikal in Guatemala are amazing.
